OUR FAVOURITE JASPER VIEWS

Unbeatable Sights in Jasper National Park

Winter Wildlife

Jasper is home to more mountain mammals than you can count, and travelling to the Rockies gives you the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the wildlife. Local tour groups allow you to check out these incredible creatures in a safe and respectful manner.

Maligne Canyon

A comfortable walk through the deepest canyon in the park. Take a 10-minute drive north of Jasper, strap on some anti-slip cleats, and prepare yourself for stunning views. Take the opportunity to explore ice sculptures, fossils, and frozen waterfalls.

Athabasca Falls

Feel the spray of the river beneath you as you embark on this impressive hike. If you take an easy pace and tread lightly, the views are worth the slippery steps along the way. Just be sure to stay on the trail to safely conquer the course!

Snow, Ice, and Everything Nice

Skating

Winter’s cool temperatures give life to a whole new world of activities. Lace up some skates and hit the groomed rink on the iconic Pyramid Lake for a beautiful day outdoors. Nothing beats the feeling of gliding along the ice with the beautiful backdrop of Pyramid Mountain behind you. Don’t have skates? Our Pyramid Lake Resort winter rental service has you covered.

Maybe you’re a little too wobbly on skates and want to try something different... Snowshoeing is the perfect option for the blade-averse adventurer.

Snowshoeing

This increasingly popular winter activity allows you to access terrain that even cross-country skiers struggle to reach. Whether you’re looking for a light walk or to work up a sweat and hike to new heights, snowshoeing won’t disappoint. Check out these tours and our Pyramid Lake rental shop.

Ice Climbing

Looking for something a bit more extreme? Stray from the ordinary and try something new. The bragging rights alone are worth it. Ice climbing takes your mountain hike to the next level. Whether you’re in a group setting or looking for a private session, every type of climb, at every skill level, promises an exhilarating challenge and unforgettable views.
